Overview
In companies, it is often a internal or even legal requirement that tasks / processes are documented with physical documents so that it is clear what they are based on. When for example an invoice for a purchase is recorded in SAP Business One, it may be necessary to also include, as an attachment, the physical document received by the supplier. Possibly, any other related receipts, plans, signed documents etc. may also be required for documenting an invoice.
Scanning and attaching such documents manually is time consuming as well as needs several steps to be completed. Besides a scanner, it also requires a running SAP Business One including a license to complete the process. In some scenarios (for example people working in remote offices) this may not be an option.
To help speed up and simplify this process as well as remove the necessity for a running SAP Business One Scan and Attach has been created.
Instead of scanning each document separately and then attaching it to the document in SAP Business One, the user sticks a specific label on these documents and scans them into a collection of documents. Scan and Attach will analyze such scanned documents, split them into individual files according to the labels and attach them individually to the corresponding document in SAP Business One.
Additionally, it is also possible to place manually prepared files in a specific folder to directly attach them to a document without adding a label to the document.

Installed SAP Business One 10.0 or higher
SAP Business One DI API (32-Bit)
.NET Framework 4.8 or higher
Label printer, able to print QR codes
Scanner, able to scan documents with a minimum of XX DPI as well as create .pdf documents
